This is a day tour that takes you to one of the best views in the Wadi Rum desert. To reach the remote Um Adaami mountain we will drive about 40 km by jeep. This is a very scenic drive and it takes you to an area where you are unlikely to encounter other tourists. Once we make the easy hike to the top of the mountain you will have a fantastic view with Wadi Rum in one direction and Saudi Arabia in the other. If you can't spend the night, you will arrive back in the Rum Village with plenty of time to reach your next destination.

Tour Programme
When you reach Wadi Rum you will arrive at the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre, the gateway to the Wadi Rum Protected Area. Here is where you will pay the entrance fees or enter with the Jordan Pass. After the Visitor Centre, you will continue onward for about 6km to the Wadi Rum Village until you reach the Wadi Rum Rest House. Here I will greet you and lead you inside for a short rest and a cup of delicious Bedouin tea. With a map, I will chat with you about the day's plans. Once the tea is finished, we will set off into the desert.
To start the tour, we will drive through the Wadi Rum desert for about 40km southwards to Um Adaami Mountain. This is a great drive going through the narrow valleys of Wadi Rum and crossing the beautiful and lonely Wadi Saabit. When we arrive at the mountain, you will have a guided hike to the top, which usually takes about 3 hours.
The path to the summit of this mountain is clearly marked and requires no rope. It is not a challenging hike, and when you reach the top, you are rewarded with panoramic views over Saudi Arabia to the south and Wadi Rum to the north. When we climb down the mountain, we will stop for a relaxing lunch in the shade.
After lunch,we will visit the White Desert, stopping at the Little Bridge, Bedouin Dams, and Al Qatar Spring. Then, we will make our way back to the Rum Village.
