Our hiking and scrambling tours are a fun way for active travelers to explore our desert. We offer a variety of multi and single day hiking and scrambling tours that can take you to the main historical sites, and highest peaks in Wadi Rum. On our hiking & sscrambling tours, you can decide to do a day tour, or sleep in our fixed camp or beneath the stars.
1 Day - Rakkabt Canyon & Jeep Tour
This is a one day hiking tour that traverses the Rakkabt Canyon and then visits many of Wadi Rum's sites by jeep. We will start hiking from the village and check out several stunning views as we scramble our way through the canyon. After the hike we will stop for a traditional Bedouin lunch before hopping in a jeep to visit several of the most famous sites of Wadi Rum. After the tour you will experience an evening filled with Bedouin traditions before settling in to a comfortable private tent or outdoors with an incredible view of the starry night sky. 3 Days - Hiking & Scrambling Tour
This tour is for active travellers who want to explore Wadi Rum on their own two feet. Over three days and two nights we will hike and scramble up to several of the Protected Area's best spots and take in the breathtaking views. 5 Days - Hiking & Scrambling Tour
This tour is for active travellers who have a bit of time to spend in our beautiful desert. Over five days and four nights we will hike and scramble to many of the best views that Wadi Rum has to offer. During the evenings we will set up camp and enjoy evenings filled with Bedouin music and a variety of traditional dishes. This day tour takes you to one of Wadi Rum's most famous sites: the Burdah Bridge. This natural rock arch is the largest and most impressive rock arch found in our Protected Area. We will climb to the top and admire the stunning views in all directions. After coming back down we will enjoy a traditional Bedouin lunch together. If you can't manage to spend the night, we will bring you back to the village with plenty of time to reach your next destination. Click here for details.
This is a day tour that takes you to one of the best views in the Wadi Rum desert. To reach the remote Um Adaami mountain we will drive about 40 km by jeep. This is a very scenic drive and it takes you to an area where you are unlikely to encounter other tourists. Once we make the easy hike to the top of the mountain you will have a fantastic view with Wadi Rum in one direction and Saudi Arabia in the other.
